Designed by Maan Architecten, this private residence is shaped by a restrained, tactile aesthetic in which natural light, pure volumes and seamless surfaces come together to create an intimate and sophisticated interior. The spaces are defined by a soft, neutral palette, where the warmth of wood is balanced by light-toned finishes, natural fabrics and minimal details.
Microtopping® plays a central role in the project. Chosen for selected key surfaces, it brings visual continuity, material lightness and a contemporary character to the home. In the living area, the fireplace becomes an integral part of the architecture: its seamless coating enhances the monolithic volume of the wall, removing joints and interruptions and giving the composition a uniform, elegant and understated appearance.
In the bathroom, Microtopping® creates a more intimate and sensory atmosphere. Applied to floors, walls and furnishings, it helps define a fluid, elegant space in which the washbasin area, bathtub and shower form part of the same coherent design. The seamless surfaces highten the sense of formal clarity and continuity, while the textured finish creates a natural effect that feels warm to the touch and visually soft.
The choice of Microtopping® therefore responds to both aesthetic and functional needs.
